Biography
Professor Xie graduated from Zhejiang University and acquired her PhD in Organic Chemistry. In 2007, she was awarded the Second Price of National Award for Science and Technology. She pursued advanced study in UK as a senior visiting scholar from 2011 to 2012. Currently she is a professor and deputy director of Collaborative Innovation Center of Green Pharmaceuticals and College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Zhejiang University of Technology. She has published over 30 articles on leading chemistry journals including Tetrahedron, Tetrahedron Letters, Synlett, Synthesis, etc. and acquired 8 authorized invention patents.
Research Interests
Professor Xie’s research interests broadly cover the following 4 aspects:
1. Synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates
2. Studies on the synthesis of heterocycle compounds
3. Application of hypervalent iodine reagents and ionic liquids in organic synthesis
4. Click Chemistry in the synthesis of HPO compounds
